Balade à roulettes : Forêt de Migelane - La balade géologique

The Migelane Departmental Forest is largely used for wood production. This former wet heathland is home to a varied natural heritage.
The nature of its soils, the plant formations and the presence of wetlands allow the development of numerous animal and plant species.
The Migelane forest promises secrets and beautiful encounters along the way, including the Montesquieu oak under which the writer is said to have rested. The geological walk looks at the nature of the soil, the sand and gravel that outcrops and ends up on an extraction site.

The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a pushchair or a small bicycle, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), offered by the Fédération Française de Randonnée de la Gironde.
